Beginner Crochet ClassWednesdays 5:00 - 6:30Ages 9 - 14 This class is 3 x 2 hour classesJuly 29, August 5, Aug 19 (we are skipping August 12) If you’ve never crocheted before (or l ong enough ago that you don’t remember), this class is for you! You will learn everything you need to crochet a simple dishcloth in the first two weeks, and then upgrade those skills to make a granny square in the final week. Skills you will learn: How to hold the yarn Necessary basic crochet stitches slip knots, chain stitches, double crochets, and single crochets Crocheting flat and in the round Reading a basic crochet pattern Materials: (available for purchase) 5.0mm crochet hook 2 50g balls of worsted weight cotton yarn in 2 different colours Tapestry or yarn needle *Yarn colour doesn’t matter so long as it is not too dark, so you can see your stitches!
