DESCRIPTION This 3-hour class will be hosted by Murriel Mapa of Naked & Frayed, where she’ll walk you through the basics of embroidery. This is a beginner-friendly class - so if you’ve never embroidered before, that’s okay! You will learn basic embroidery stitches with hands-on instructions and a chance to ask any questions you might have. The goal of this class is just to learn something new and have fun with a group of folks wanting to learn a cozy hobby! Sunday, September 20, 2026 from 1-4pm PREREQUISITE / SKILL LEVELNo prior experience is necessary for this introductory exploration. COST$125 + GST MATERIALS INCLUDEDAll embroidery supplies will be provided to you during this class, including a full DIY Embroidery Kit (Retail Value = $55) from Naked & Frayed. You will get to choose among numerous different kit designs, and Murriel will help you get started on whichever kit you choose. The kits will come with a booklet with detailed instructions that you’ll be able to refer to after class, as well as the embroidery needle, floss, printed fabric, and embroidery hoop.
