In this class, participants will explore herbs long associated with imagination and creativity, learning how they can gently influence mood, perception, and creative expression. Guided by creative artists and herbalists, Sofia Arana-Miranda and Ashley Loza, the evening offers a grounded, supportive space to slow down and listen inward. You will be guided through sensory awareness practices and simple creative prompts that invite expression without expectation. The core of the workshop is experiential: participants will engage in open-ended creative exploration, observing firsthand how focused attention, plant support, and imaginative play intersect in a relaxed, supportive environment. Emphasis is placed on process rather than product, encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and self-reflective awareness. Participants are welcome to bring any personal art materials they enjoy working with, but it is not required. A variety of materials will also be provided, including pastels, watercolor, colored pencils, and paper. No prior art experience is needed — only curiosity and a willingness to explore. Additional Info: Recommended Age: 12+. Materials are included (pastels, watercolor, colored pencils, and paper), though you are welcome to bring any personal art materials you enjoy working with. Maximum Number of Participants: 14 Class registration closes at 4:00 pm MT on Friday for weekend classes.
