In this workshop, you’ll learn how to transform pre-infused herbal oils into a rich, stable lotion by blending them with a water phase—demystifying the science behind creams while working with botanicals. Together, we’ll focus on the featured topical herb, Gotu Kola, and its skin-supportive properties, including its ability to stimulate collagen synthesis. A soothing ally for summer skin, Gotu Kola offers both gentle nourishment and depth of study, and we’ll explore its complexities throughout the class. Along the way, you’ll gain a practical understanding of emulsification, ingredient function, and the foundational mechanisms behind lotion making. All materials are provided. You’ll leave with your own 2 oz jar of handcrafted cream, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue creating herbal formulations at home.
