This class explores how to build a relationship with them as allies in maintaining clarity, boundaries, and a sense of grounded protection. Join clinical herbalist Sofia Arana-Miranda for a class on plant-based protection across folk traditions. Rooted in Mexican curanderismo and other herbal lineages, this class focuses on key protective and clearing plants and how to work with them in everyday life. We will cover a range of practices, including smoke cleansing, aromatic preparations, teas, body applications, and a myriad of other traditional ways to engage with the power of these beloved allies. Each approach offers a different way to clear, strengthen, and tend both personal and shared spaces. The class includes a hands-on component where participants will create their own clearing blend to take home, leaving with practical tools they can return to regularly. Additional Info: Participant age over 12 years old recommended. Materials for clearing blend are included in the class cost. Maximum Number of Participants: 14 Class registration closes at 4:00 pm MST on Friday for weekend classes.
