2h30 • Beginner Level In this classes, I'll teach you all the steps to make a hand built ceramic piece which you will take home with you after it's fired. You will be able to make the shape and object you like, and if you don't feel inspired, I have plenty of ideas for you! After the class, we will glaze and fire your pieces with our self made studio glaze (cf: last picture) and will notify you when they are ready to pick it up at the studio within 6 weeks. Go further into the process: Learn about all the steps from start to finish (throwing, trimming and glazing) by booking a 4-sessions pottery class of 10 hours over one month. 🏺🎨 You'll learn the different techniques of hand building with clay from slab, coil, pinchpot. I'll guide you through the different steps to make a handmade pottery. Content of the Workshop: Thinking of a design Making of the clay piece with various hand building techniques and option between 3 different colors of clay Making of ornaments (Textures, handles, feet, decorative elements) Glazing of your pieces by us with our self made studio glaze or option to glaze yourself during a glazing class When? If you are more advanced, this class is also suitable to help you perfect your technique and refresh what you've already start learning. It's also great for creative minds looking for help to make an idea come to life. Only reservations cancelled 7 or more full calendar days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Important notes: - Due to limited space in our studio we can't store your pieces for a long period of time. Therefore your ready ceramics have to be picked up within 1.5 months after you received the notification from us telling you they are fired, otherwise it will be thrown away. Thank you for your understanding. - We take every possible care during firing, but due to the unpredictable nature of ceramics and kiln processes, we cannot be held responsible for any cracking, warping, glaze defects, or breakage that may occur during firing. - Only reservations cancelled 7 or more full calendar days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund or be postponed.
