Across 4 weeks, we’ll gently build your skills from the basics to creating your own finished pieces, with patient guidance, plenty of encouragement, and absolutely no judgement if your thread has a tantrum. Perfect for beginners, nervous sewists, support clients, or anyone who wants a creative, practical skill in a relaxed and friendly space. Over four weeks, you’ll make a completed item each week while learning practical sewing skills including backstitching, top stitching, overlocking, fabric choice and placement, with a focus on repurposing and upcycling textiles too. Choose from either: 🌿 Tuesday evening class — 5.30–7.30pm Tuesday 22 September Tuesday 29 September Tuesday 6 October Tuesday 13 October 🌼 Saturday afternoon class — 1.30–3.30pm Saturday 26 September Saturday 3 October Saturday 10 October Saturday 17 October $200 for the four-week course, including all materials and fabric.
