These are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process rather than defects. We hand-inspect every unit for safety and precision. If a tool-free snap interface ever becomes cracked or shows signs of delamination (layer separation), please discontinue use immediately. Color Variation Note: Actual filter tint and hue may vary slightly from online product images due to photographic lighting, digital photo processing, screen settings, and device display calibration. Care & Handling Frame and Tint Snap Interface Storage & Heat Sensitivity: The SnapTint Wear Modular Frame and the Tint Mounting Interface (designed for quick, secure attachment to the SnapTint Wear Modular Frame) are crafted using high-quality 3D-printed PLA. This material is durable but sensitive to high temperatures. To prevent warping or loss of the snap-fit precision: Avoid Heat: Never leave your frames or filters in a hot vehicle, near a heater, or in direct, intense sunlight for extended periods. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. If the frames become too warm, the modular connection points may lose their shape. Color Filter Surface Protection and Heat Sensitivity: SnapTint Wear Modular Color Filters are crafted from vinyl material. Handle carefully to avoid scratches or damage to the filter and store in a cool, dry place. Anti-Static Handling: Vinyl naturally attracts dust. Handle filters by the edges only to prevent fingerprint oils from trapping debris on the surface. Avoid Chemical Cleaners: Never use window cleaners, alcohol, or ammonia-based sprays. These chemicals can cause vinyl to yellow, crack, or become permanently cloudy. Cleaning: Use a dry microfiber cloth only. For stubborn smudges, use a single drop of distilled water. Heat Safety: Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C (122°F). Prolonged heat exposure may cause warping or permanent deformation of the material.
