It is the standard-width strap for jeans and work pants, and it is the belt to reach for when you want one that does not ask for attention.Every Classic is made in Tyler's one-man shop in Eminence, Indiana, and stamped with his maker's mark. Every Classic belt ships with a buckle at no extra charge. Most folks wear it as it comes; others swap on a trophy buckle for the weekend and put the original back on Monday. Why does a plain brown belt cost $97?Because it is cut, finished and edged by hand from real leather in Indiana, not stamped out of bonded scrap overseas. It is thicker than a department-store belt, which is also why the sizing steps below matter. How long will it take to get here?In-stock sizes ship in 2 to 3 business days, occasionally 4 to 5. U.S. shipping is free on orders of $99 or more, so pair it with a keeper or a tin of leather cream and the shipping is covered. A $25 expedited option moves you to the front of the line.Is it guaranteed?Yes. Every belt Tyler makes carries a lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship and materials for the original purchaser, as long as the leather is cared for. Normal wear, misuse and outside alterations are not covered. How to Measure Your Belt Size Start at the buckle end where the belt folds over. Measure to the hole you comfortably wear — not the end of the strap. That measurement is your belt size. Every belt we make is sized from the buckle fold to the middle hole, so the size you order lands on the center hole with room to adjust either way. Measuring a thin department-store belt? Ours are thicker — add 2" to that measurement, or order 4" over your pant size. Diagrams are in the free Belt Sizing Guide (also the last photo above).
