Our classic lemon cake is the best of both worlds : a lemon drizzle cake and a buttercream cake combined. Keep it classic with three layers of lemon cake, soaked in homemade lemon syrup and sandwiched together with a sharp lemon frosting and decorated with home candied lemon slices. 6" cake will feed 8-10 generously, or 16 small pieces if you cut it into squares. 8" cake will feed 12-16 generously, or 24 small pieces if you cut it into squares.
