Simply remove the countersunk-screws and backing strainer: take out the cardboard and backing board and replace it with your matted art. These frames are also great for documents or as a display frame. For artists matting their own work - there is a two-ply Rising acid free board and acid free foamcore included in the frame package, so you only need the top mat.
