In this two-day course you’ll use Claude Code to create a desktop application, refactor it into multi-tier application, and then migrate the application to a microservices architecture. You’ll extend Claude Code with skills, tools, hooks, and plugins. The focus of this course is leveraging Claude Code to create reliable, secure, maintainable, extendable, and understandable applications. Claude Code: Developing Applications Benefits Course Benefits Use Claude Code both to create new applications and extend, enhance, and modify existing applications Manage Claude Code sessions and context to get optimal performance Extend your Claude Code environment with skills to reduce your workload Add new functionality to Claude Code MCP Servers, including GitHub Have Claude Code build tests that ensure your application works correctly Leverage hooks, goals, and loops to enhance Claude Code’s ability to generate code Work with Claude Code in a variety of platforms and languages from Node.js to .NET Prerequisites Some coding experience is helpful for some topics in this course about extending Claude Code.
