Item Name: Claw with Looped Ends SKU: CLAW 5 Description: The Claw with Looped Ends is a specialized locking grabber tool constructed with reinforced metal prongs and looped end handles designed for secure grip and control. This tool is engineered to hold hot glass objects from the outside, making it an ideal choice for lampworking applications where precision and safety are paramount. The looped ends provide ergonomic handling and allow the glassblower to maintain a firm grip while working with delicate ornaments, glass balls, and other spherical forms. The locking mechanism ensures the glass remains securely held throughout the working process, preventing slippage during critical moments of the craft. How It Is Used: In lampworking, the Claw with Looped Ends is employed when crafting ornaments and glass balls that require external support and manipulation. As you heat and shape the glass at the torch, this tool allows you to hold the piece from the outside without compromising the interior structure or the work you are performing. The looped ends make it particularly useful for extended work sessions, as they reduce hand fatigue and provide better control over the glass form. This tool is essential for ornament makers and beadmakers who need reliable external holding during the flame-working process.
