It's a great way to experience the pottery wheel before committing to a longer course—or to see who can throw the best bowl! Over 2.5 hours, you'll be guided through the fundamentals of wheel throwing in a relaxed and supportive environment. You'll learn the basic techniques step by step while creating your own unique ceramic pieces, leaving with new skills, memorable experiences, and a handmade piece to be proud of. After the workshop, your favourite piece will be professionally trimmed, glazed in a colour of your choice, and kiln-fired. Your finished pottery will be ready for collection in approximately four weeks, and you'll receive an email when it's ready. Shipping can also be arranged for an additional fee. No previous experience is necessary, and all tools, materials, clay, and aprons are provided. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little clay on—it's all part of the experience, and the clay washes out easily.
