Throw. Build. Sculpt. Glaze. This ongoing open workshop style clay class has the works! Embark on your pottery making journey as you learn throwing clay on the potter's wheel and handbuilding skills in this perfect opportunity to gain knowledge and experience working with clay ceramics. You may spend your time practicing the process or design your own project with instructor led step-by-step direction and technique assistance. We will offer project ideas to create where you will be able to add your own special touches and make it your own design. You will have the opportunity to practice throwing, wedging, molding, making pinch pots, coil sculptures, slab work boxes, trimming and carving, as well glaze decorating your pieces. All levels of Adults and Kids ages 8+ are welcome in this class. All shared materials included. More supplies available for purchase as needed. Choose from these options to book your session: One-Time Session: One single class for fun to create one piece to keep and we will paint it for you in your choice of one glaze color. (Once and done!) Add-on 2-Pack: This is for anyone who signed up for a one-time session but decided to finish their own pieces. (You can book sessions as your schedule allows within 30 days from the last session.) Class 3-Pack: This package has flexible scheduling where you book the first session now, and the other two as your schedule allows (within 30 days from your last session). This option includes 3 class sessions where you may utilize your time to practice with an instructor to do the complete process of sculpting, trimming, and glaze painting your own pieces. You may purchase this option over and over to come back often and work on different pieces as you wish. (This includes the best savings at $30 less than if you booked separate sessions!) ***PLEASE NOTE: Pick up is usually within 2 weeks from creation depending on thickness of the clay for drying and kiln firing time. All pieces made in a class must be completed during class time and picked up after firing. We are not responsible for abandoned pieces left due to inactive participation.
