Acid-Free wedding dress boxes have an additive that protects the board against acid absorption, although it does contain lignin which makes it best for short-medium time preservation. Luxe preservation includes the same add ons except the box is upgraded and includes a muslin cover! These archival storage boxes are made from a material that does not contain lignin and will not break down and become acidic over time. Best for long term storage
