At 0.040" - the metric equivalent of 1mm - this is the thinnest rigid acrylic substrate you can engrave nicely. Thinner than 1/16", but still fully workable as a hard material rather than a flexible film. Used for architectural scale models, engraved overlays, precision layering, and detail work where standard 1/8" or even 1/16" reads as too heavy.
