Clematis 'Daniel Deronda' Large, outfacing, semi-double, violet-blue flowers appear in early summer on old wood, and again in lat e summer to fall on new growth. Climbing vine (requires support). Can also be allowed to trail along the ground as a groundcover, or over retaining walls. Fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Sun. Prune back to the highest set of healthy buds in spring.
