Clematis 'Dr. Ruppel' Large, outfacing, rose-pink flowers with carmine-red central bars appear in early summer on old wood, and a gain in late summer to fall on new growth. Climbing vine (requires support). Can also be allowed to trail along the ground as a groundcover, or over retaining walls. Fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Sun.
