Originally bred in association with the Children's Hospital Trust, in South Africa, such a worthy cause deserves sensational flowers. Luckily, 'Ithemba' offers exactly that! Each large flower sports stunning snow-white sepals with candy-pink central stripes, while liquorice-coloured central stamens provide fabulous contrast. Set against a backdrop of lush green foliage, these blooms really pop. Vigorous and bushy in nature, but compact in terms of ultimate height, this variety makes for an excellent patio or balcony plant. Plant it up an obelisk in a large container and make it your terrace's focal point. Hardy and straight-forward to grow, this easygoing plant can withstand harsh British winters and only needs a simple annual prune to thrive.
