Our favorite new clematis comes from Fanjingshan in China. Pendulous golden-yellow flowers blooming July through August give way to large showy silken seed heads (almost 2 inches i n diameter!). In the Pacific Northwest, it tends to be semi-evergreen, enjoys sun to partial sun, and normal to moist conditions.
