A non-vining herbaceous Clematis that dies back to the ground at the end of the growing season. Bell-shaped flowers. Benefits from staking, cages or neighboring plants for support. Continuous Bloom or Rebloomer all summer. Care Best grown in full sun to part shade. Water when 25% dry and plant in rich soil with good drainage. Again, the key is well-drained soil, as clematis as a rule do not like waterlogged or wet soils. Prune hard in the March and as often as you like to encourage reblooming. Grows best in zones 3-7.
