Cleveland has a fisher again.A fisher is a weasel, but a weasel the size of a house cat — long and low to the ground, dark brown, with a heavy bushy tail and a habit of going up tr ees after things that thought being up a tree made them safe. Ohio had them in the old forest, and then it didn't: trapping and logging cleared them out of the state by the middle of the 1800s. In early September a camera in Cleveland's park system caught one walking through, and the Ohio Division of Wildlife confirmed it — the first documented in Cuyahoga County in well over a century.Nobody released it.
