Cleyera leaves are a glossy, dark green color with coppery-red new growth that matures to a rich, dark green. The leaves are oval-shaped, and each leaf can grow up to 4 inches in length. The foliage is densely packed, which gives the plant a full, lush appearance. Care Cleyera is a relatively low-maintenance shrub that is easy care. It prefers well-draining soil and partial to full sun, but can also tolerate some shade (alot of shade makes it leggy).
