We love this fly box! The Cliff’s Bugger Beast is perfect for the guy that fishes big flies and uses a boat. This is the box to get for bass, pike, musky, big trout streamers, or b ig baitfish saltwater patterns. With approximate size dimensions of 13.75 x 10.5 x 3.5 inches, this box won’t exactly fit in your vest… or even pontoon boat pockets… but it is perfect for boats. Load it up with hundreds of big flies and don’t worry about chewing up the foam. Cliff’s blue slit foam will last for years and years without any damage to the foam if flies are inserted and removed properly. To insert flies into the box, simply push the hook “hook bend first” into the foam. Cliff’s special foam material holds the hook very well, even with flies tied on giant hooks. To remove the flies, just back them out of the foam “hook bend first”. The hook point never penetrates into the foam itself. The outside of the Cliff’s Bugger Beast is constructed of tough plastic with durable hinges and solid closures. No metal on the box makes it perfect for saltwater use as well.
