In honor of World Suicide Prevention Day, Christy from @evoleye and I created this pin, symbolizing how friendship, art, and mental health advocacy have connected us across the ocean. Though Christy lives in Wales and I’m here in sunny Wales., our shared passion for art and mental health has bridged the gap between us. This design represents how friendship and support can close any distance, no matter how far apart we are. The swallow symbolizes resilience, the orange flowers signify hope, and the sun brings the promise of better days. The phrase “Close the Distance” reminds us to check in on your mates, open up about mental health, and break the silence that keeps us apart. .Inspired by the lyrics from “Close the Distance” by Go Radio: _”We’ll always live to close the distance Run like it’s time that’s chasing us, Like you forgot the words ‘give up.’”_ This collaboration means the world to both of us and reflects our shared belief that, no matter where you are or how tough things get, connection and understanding can bridge even the widest gap. Let’s keep those conversations going and remind each other that we’re not on our own. Check out Christy's website below! ❤️ www.evoleye.co
