Cloud services have become an essential part of everyday working, learning and communication, but secure cloud use depends on more than the technology itself. Cloud Security Awareness for Everyday Cloud Users helps learners develop practical knowledge for using cloud accounts, files, applications and connected devices more securely. The course explores shared responsibility between cloud providers, organisations and users, safer sign-in practices, passwords, multi-factor authentication, phishing, access permissions and secure file sharing.Learners will also develop awareness of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 in relation to cloud-based personal data, alongside risks associated with devices, third-party applications, Shadow IT and cloud-based AI tools. The course introduces Cyber Essentials, NCSC guidance and recognised security frameworks including ISO, NIST, CIS, CSA and SOC 2 in accessible, everyday language, helping learners make more informed security decisions in the workplace.
