This ex-designer fabric is a stretch crepe. It's a medium to heavy weight crepe, with an almost double layer weave. It has about a 10% stretch width-ways, and about 20% length-ways, making it a perfect bottom weight. It holds shape well, and has a heavier drape and soft structure. Fully opaque with a gently grainy crepe texture and quite a lovely handle that would be comfortable to wear. Was the signature house crepe of a high-end London designer.
