Printed knitting pattern booklet posted to you. This listing is for the pattern only; yarn and needles are not included. The Cloud Sweater by PetiteKnit is a relaxed women’s sweater knitting pattern worked seamlessly from the top down. Its softly structured drop-shoulder shape, generous ease and stocking-stitch funnel neck create an easy, modern layering piece. The back yoke and shoulders are worked flat and shaped with short rows. The front and back are joined at the underarms, then the body is knitted in the round. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round, and the funnel neck is added last. Wild & Woolly yarn options These alternatives are available from Wild & Woolly Yarns. Always knit and block a gauge swatch before beginning, as fibre, loft and personal tension can affect the finished fabric. Single-strand option: Chaska Alpaca Air Chaska Alpaca Air creates a light, warm and softly lofty Cloud Sweater without adding a separate mohair strand. This is the yarn used in our Cloud Sweater Knit Kit. Size Chaska Alpaca Air XXS 900 m XS 900 m S 1,000 m M 1,000 m L 1,200 m XL 1,200 m 2XL 1,300 m 3XL 1,400 m 4XL 1,400 m 5XL 1,500 m Held-together option: Double Sunday + Tynn Silk Mohair Hold one strand of Sandnes Garn Double Sunday together with one strand of Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair. The recommended alternatives will not feel identical: Alpaca Air gives a lighter, loftier fabric, while Double Sunday with Tynn Silk Mohair gives more woolly structure and a soft halo.
