The Story: This piece is part of the Studio Archive Collection, a series of sketches and intuitive paintings that were previously stored away in my flat files. I paint to capture a feeling, usually working fast and loose to get the energy down before it fades. These pieces are the rawest examples of that process, unfiltered and immediate. The Goal: I am releasing these from the vault for two reasons: To clear space: If these pieces don't find a home during this drop, they will be taken offline forever and either gifted to friends or gessoed over to become new paintings in 2026. To fuel the studio: Every sale from this drop goes directly back into purchasing supplies for the next year of work.
