Known in modern times as Clytie, in Greek mythology, she is portrayed as a nymph who pined for the love of Helios and was turned into a sunflower. Modern Scholars consider her to b e Antonia, the daughter of Mark Antony and mother of Emperor Claudius or perhaps she is Ariadne, a Roman woman of the same period.
