Systemet är avsett för vattenbehandling och reducerar järn, mangan, färg, lukt och grumlighet i vattnet. Automatisk regenerering med kaliumpermanganat CMG10 bygger på ett katalytiskt filtermaterial. Greensand-filtret kan oxidera tvåvärt järn som finns i vattnet och lagra det i filtret. För att avlägsna det upplagrade järnet regenereras enheten automatiskt genom spolning. För regenereringen används KMnO4. Det återställer filtermaterialets förmåga att oxidera järn. Produktbeskrivning WATEX CMG10 är en del av WATEX CMG-serien och är konstruerad för att behandla vatten med järn, mangan och grumlighet. Enligt produktbladet är utrustningen effektiv för dricksvattenbehandling. Anläggningen har en elektronisk CLACK WS1-kontrollenhet från USA som styr den automatiska regenereringen med tidsstyrning eller volymstyrning. Kontrollenheten sparar all information även vid strömavbrott. Så fungerar CMG10 Vattnet passerar genom det katalytiska filtermaterialet där Greensand oxiderar järn som finns löst i vattnet.
