This is a digital pattern delivered in a PDF format. We were delighted by this traditional Estonian stitch. Not lace, but so lace-like! Not cabled, but twisted by ‘spinning’ a clus ter of stitches 180 degrees. Knit in a lace-weight mohair, the blocked fabric is gossamer fine between the twists. And the surface has such a lovely undulating texture and motion. Twists along the edges create deep, three-dimensional scallops.
