When connecting with the Aqara Home or Mi Home app, you must set the region to Mainland China in the app settings for successful pairing. The Aqara Gateway E1 is compatible with Mi Home App, Apple HomeKit, and the Aqara Home App. However, please note: Switching between platforms (e.g., from Mi Home to Aqara Home App) will reset the gateway to factory settings.
