The plants use CO2 for photosynthesis resulting in plants blooming to their full potential, furthermore, running CO2 in the summer will assist your plants with dealing with heat stress. Typically, the atmosphere around us contains CO2 in concentrations of approx. 360 parts per million (ppm), however plants can make good use of CO2 at substantially higher levels. These increased levels make plants more tolerant to higher temperatures, triggering increased growth rate. Optimal levels of CO2 are between 1000ppm and 1200ppm; levels any higher than this can have a detrimental effect, levels above 2000ppm are toxic to your plants. Please select 'refill' and 'rental deposit' options for each bottle. When you are finished with it, simply bring it back to us to get your deposit back. If you already have an empty bottle that you purchased from us, then select only the 'refill' option, bring your empty bottle with you and we will give you a fresh, full one.
