Course Summary: In this class, we'll put on our thinking-caps and consider the meanings of a number of famous quotations and aphorisms. You’ll have the opportunity to both discuss and write about various proverbs, maxims and other wise sayings and observations about life. And in the process, you'll be sharpening both your critical thinking and your essay writing skills. You'll write 7 essays, all of which will be discussed in class, and 2 will be corrected and returned to you with comments.
