Used to warm beds before retiring for the night and at church to keep toes warm, these coal pots were filled with ashes from the family hearth. Handmade by a member of our Interpre tative Artisans Program in the Crafts Center here at Plimoth Patuxet, each is slightly different and vary in shape. Available in redware.
