Cobalt Blue Polypropylene Rope is the strongest synthetic rope in its class thanks to extremely tight tolerances in manufacturing from fiber extrusion to the finished rope. The result is a rope of very high quality and consistency. Approximately 40% stronger than standard polypropylene ropes 18% elongation Excellent UV protection Superior abrasion resistance No loss of strength when wet Can be stored wet Resists rot and mildew One issue with polypropylene to consider is that UV light slowly breaks down the fibers of the rope. Over time, if left outside, this rope will take on a rough and fuzzy appearance.
