Cocktail Codex argues that every classic cocktail traces back to one of six fundamental recipes: the Old-Fashioned, Martini, Daiquiri, Sidecar, Whisky Highball, or the Flip. Workin g through each of the six teaches the underlying mechanics and technique behind a whole category of drinks, rather than memorizing recipes one at a time. From there, the book shows how to use that same framework to build entirely new cocktails. It's a genuinely useful reference for anyone serious about a home bar, more a method than a straightforward recipe book. Dimensions: 9 1/2" W x 10" L x 1" D Show more
