Coco Coir is a 100% organic growing medium commonly used as an additive in aroid substrates to increase water retention while maintaining good air porosity. Its fibrous structure h elps hold moisture without compacting, supporting healthy root development. Coco coir can be mixed into chunky aroid blends to slightly reduce chunk size, creating a more moisture-retentive and balanced substrate - particularly useful for young plants, cuttings, or environments with higher evaporation. Important note:Coco coir contains very few available nutrients. For best results, it should be buffered or used in combination with a complete fertilization routine to prevent nutrient deficiencies and ensure optimal plant growth.
