The Coconut Arch is a natural coconut shell shaped into an arched bridge structure with live Java moss growing across its surface. It creates a distinctive organic-looking feature that functions as both a visual element and a practical shelter for fish and shrimp. The natural material and living moss combine to produce an appearance that integrates naturally into planted aquariums of all styles.Java moss is one of the most low-maintenance aquarium plants available. It grows in low to medium light without CO2 injection and tolerates a wide range of water conditions. The moss will slowly spread and increase its coverage over the coconut surface over time. Shrimp are particularly attracted to moss — they graze on it constantly and use it for shelter and breeding. The moss is pre-established on the coconut arch so no further attachment is needed — simply rinse and place in the tank. Fish and shrimp will readily use the arch as a shelter and swimming route. The coconut may release some natural tannins initially, which is harmless and settles over time. Suitable for aquariums of 20 litres and above.
