Virgin coconut oil is a Medium Chain Triglyceride (MCT) oil, with many unique health properties which distinguish virgin coconut oil from the saturated fats found in meat and vegetable oils. MCT’s promote good health and have many amazing health properties. Virgin coconut oil is best stored in a cool dry place and is usually in a solid form but becomes liquid between 18°C and 24°C.
