Codenames is a word-based party game that turns conversation into clever clue-giving and sharp deduction. In this two-team showdown, players race to identify their undercover agents on a 5x5 grid of code words by crafting one-word clues that tie multiple words together. The Spymaster holds all the secrets—knowing which words belong to their team, which belong to the other team, and where the dangerous assassin lurks—while the rest of the team uses shared language and teamwork to make the right guesses. Designed for fast, engaging rounds, Codenames blends word association with strategic risk in a way that’s accessible to newcomers and satisfying for seasoned players alike. Every game feels fresh: a new grid of words, new clues, and a new puzzle to solve with friends, family, or colleagues.
