Some resemble three-pointed oak leaves; others develop an even more irregular outline. Yellow veins cross a green background on younger growth, while orange, red and burgundy spread through older leathery blades.The colour changes along the branching shrub as well as across each leaf. Upright tips carry the freshest green-and-yellow foliage, the middle holds a mixture of orange and red, and the lowest developed leaves often have the darkest tones. Each blade remains glossy and firm as its colour deepens. Continued branching increases the number of these layered leaf shapes, building a broad multicoloured plant whose cut edges and narrowed sections remain just as noticeable as the warm pattern.
