Coffee profile Roaster Bread and Butter Coffee Coffee type Espresso blend Tasting notes Dark and milk chocolate, peanut, caramel, almond and praline Recommended use Espresso, hot lattes and iced lattes Purchase options include Whole Bean, Ground Coffee and a separately labeled 12oz Bag Choose your option carefully Whole bean offers the control needed to dial grind for your espresso machine. The option labeled only “12oz Bag” does not identify a grind format, so confirm that choice if the preparation matters to your order. A general ground option may not match every conventional espresso basket. Brewing and storage For espresso, begin near a 1:2 ratio of dry coffee to beverage, using a dose that suits your basket. Keep dose stable and adjust grind by taste when using whole beans. The roaster notes that some packaging may still carry its earlier The Herd Coffee branding.
