Our Shinki Hikaku Shell Cordovan is a mixed tanned leather from Shinki Hikaku in Japan. Shell Cordovan is famous for its gorgeous shine and unique crease-resisting property due to the density of the leather. It requires very little maintenance and overtime, develops a beautiful patina. Shell Cordovan begins as a high-shine leather and overtime becomes more dull with wear. This shine can be replenished through the application of leather conditioner and brushing vigorously.
