Mcpherson style struts commonly need modifications to the pillow ball camber plate center dowel to allow the strut rod to completely thread onto the top nut.* We recommend Mcpherson type conversions use the aftermarket camber plate for your specific vehicle, using the OEM type top hat may require modification to allow the strut to accept an air bag.
