The 1947 United States Mint Uncirculated coin set contains 28 coins. The year’s coins included two examples each of the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, and Washin gton Quarter from the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints, as well as Walking Liberty Half Dollars from Philadelphia and Denver. Packaging consisted of three cardboard holders, which displayed only one side of the coins. The mintage for the 1947 coin set was 5,000 units. Show more
