Cold Comfort Tea is a caffeine-free loose-leaf blend of chamomile flowers, peppermint, elderflower, licorice root, and echinacea root. Five herbs that have been steeped in kitchens long before they were sold on shelves, brought together in one cup. The flavor is gentle and lightly sweet. Peppermint sits up front, with a soft floral backbone from the chamomile and elderflower behind it. Licorice root rounds the cup with a natural sweetness, so it sips well on its own without much honey. Packed on our farm in the Missouri Ozarks.
