The workshop on Grapevine Cold Hardiness and Management will provide an opportunity for vineyard owners and managers to develop a more complete understanding of the basic principles involved in grapevine cold acclimation, deacclimation and winter hardiness. Additional information on the details of low temperature injury, its identification and management will be presented. Speakers will also provide advice on site selection to avoid low temperature problems, protective measures and management practices to potentially reduce low temperature injury, including the use of wind machines, water and some new techniques.
